Of course. That’s what reclaiming is. But that doesn’t make it a politically neutral term that everyone is or should be comfortable with or that everyone should be able to ‘reclaim.’ I guess I am just confused as to how one reclaims something that has never been used against them. (Just to clarify, this comes out of a general frustration on my part of the recent Tumblr discussions about who can use ‘queer.’)
