Apparently there is a Japanese bread called melonpan that was there and it reminded me of mallorca which is Puerto Rican bread that is also sweet and it made me happy. Now I am wondering how many cultures have their own distinct sweet breads.
Grew up in MD now living and studying in the Boston area.
